This was just a drive in and quick trip as I was looking for a healthier option than a burger or fried chicken. Glad I took a chance on Wok Inn. It was Wednesday and I did the special of Supreme Shrimp. Two great things about this visit. Entree was ample. Was concerned that the three shrimps I saw when opened would be my total serving. Not the case. A full dozen of plump, firm (not flimsy) medium sized shrimp. A spring roll that was stuffed and not greasy or oily. And finally the packaging. No styrofoam here, with leaky gaps, but a securely sealed plastic tray and lid. No mess no stress.
Love eating at Wok Inn in general. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. Whenever I go to this location, there is always plenty of available seating and I mean that in a good way. It's in a great location with an outdoor area for dinning but only during spring and summer. Or when the weather is good, in general. I usually order the lemon chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. They also have free egg drop soup and free white rice.
Food was absolutely delicious!! I got the Mongolian beef and the beef was so tender . My mom got the orange chicken and it was the best orange chicken she ever had. We will definitely be back. Great customer service!!!
Best location in town. Food is always hot and delicious and the service is always friendly and quick! The portions were huge for the price and the unlimited soup bar to top it off was delicious. Definitely recommend!
My first time at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was flavorful and the place clean. More importantly the service was top notch. We were greeted with a warm greeting and a well mannered African American young man wearing a backwards red cap. He was pleasant and polite. Which isn’t typical service in today’s world. After sitting down and receiving our food, 3 different employees came out separate times to check on us and ask us if we needed anything. Again , not your common type of service in the service industry of today. I will most definitely be visiting this location again, thank God it’s convenient to my home. Please recognize the staff who worked at the Haussmann location on Sunday, 01/05, between the hours of 7-745pm, they deserve it. Wok Inn thank you for reminding me what service should look like. Well done!!!!
The staff is lovely every time I come to the restaurant and the service is nice. The food is really amazing and the taste is very consistent every time I visit. I have been to 1 other location of wok inn and they were amazing there as well. The atmosphere is often great, and it's very quiet there. Most of the time the restaurant is very calm. The staff is very friendly even in the Drive-Thru. This it's probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Antonio for quick Chinese food. 10/10 I suggest going here if you're hungry.
Customer service was outstanding! Generous portions that I ended up taking half of my food home! We were continually asked if we needed drink refills or anything. Best one by far!
Love Wok Inn and this place was so awesome. Staff were incredible and we got everything we ordered! The food came out quickly as well. So delicious!! We surprised with the soup bar and it was scrumptious. My husband said the egg rolls could be better but we all agreed the crab Rangoon were great!
